Roofing & Storm Damage Repair in Brampton

Brampton gets the wind. Storms lift shingles and pull fascia loose, and winter ice goes to work on the eavestroughs. The good news is that all of it is fixable, and most of it is preventable. We handle the storm that just hit and the slow wear the weather's been doing for years.

The Call We Get After Every Brampton Windstorm

It's the number one reason Brampton homeowners call us, and it makes sense. When the wind comes through at 90 or 100 km/h, it finds the weak spots: shingles that were never sealed properly, fascia that was due, flashing that had lifted.

Sometimes you see the damage from the street. Sometimes the first sign is a stain on the ceiling weeks later.

Here's what we tell people: don't wait for the leak, and don't sign with the first door-knocker who says they "noticed something from the road."

Most importantly, take your time choosing who fixes it. Big storms bring out door-to-door crews working fast, and the right repair is worth more than the quickest one.

Here's what we do:
  • inspect the damaged area
  • show you photos of what's actually up there
  • and, tell you whether it's a repair or a replacement.

No pressure, no invented damage.

"I'm missing a couple shingles on my roof."

A Brampton Roof We're Proud Of

This Brampton home came to us with major roof leaks. The shingles had aged out, and years of windstorms had worked them loose, lifting and cracking them until water found its way in. By the time the homeowner called, it wasn't a patch job anymore.

We replaced the whole roof: tear-off, deck check, new architectural shingles, and proper attic ventilation (those new vents along the ridge let the attic breathe, which is half of what makes a roof last in this climate). No more leaks, and a roof built to take the next storm.

We shoot every finished roof, so you can see exactly what was done up there without climbing a ladder.

What We Handle in Brampton

The Van Is the Workshop

Most exterior jobs in Brampton involve three companies: a roofer, a gutter crew, and someone for the aluminum. When water gets in where their work meets, each one blames the other two.

Enayat, our roofing expert, carries the fabrication equipment in the van.

This means your new flashing and eavestrough get formed on your driveway, fitted to your house, the same day. After a storm, that means we can fix your fascia and flashing the same visit, instead of leaving your house open to the next rain while parts get ordered.

"Since Enayat owns all the equipment, he printed the flashing and eavestrough on site reducing the reliance on other contractors."

Different Streets, Different Roofs

Brampton isn't one kind of housing stock, and the wind doesn't treat it like one. Out in Bramalea, one of Canada's first planned communities going back to the late 1950s, the roofs and eavestroughs are old enough that a strong gust easily rips out matured shingles.

In the newer master-planned areas like Mount Pleasant and Springdale, the homes are younger but went up fast, so what we see there is more about installation quality than age: shingles that weren't sealed down, fascia that wasn't fastened for real wind. Up around Heart Lake, with the conservation land and mature trees, the shade keeps north-facing roofs damp and we see more moss working into the shingles.

Either way, we read the house in front of us. A 1960s Bramalea roof and a 2010s Mount Pleasant build can compromise in completely different ways, so our fix is always tailored to the root cause.

Do you even service the Brampton area?

Yes. We work all over Brampton, from Mount Pleasant and Heart Lake to Bramalea and the older streets downtown. We're based in Pickering and cover Brampton along with the rest of Peel, so you're not paying for a crew driving in from two hours away.

Call (416) 666-9863 and we'll tell you when we can get out to look.

My shingles blew off in a storm. What do I do first?

My shingles blew off in a storm. What do I do first?

Get it covered before the next rain, and get it documented. Take a few photos from the ground if you can, then call us at (416) 666-9863. We'll tarp the open areas same-day during business hours, so water stays out, photograph the full damage for you, and tell you straight whether it's a repair or a replacement.

Wind damage is often covered by home insurance, and our written assessment* gives your insurer what they need.

*Full inspection reports are available for a flat fee.

Why does my eavestrough overflow even when it's clean?

Why does my eavestrough overflow even when it's clean?

Usually the slope is wrong. Eavestroughs need a consistent pitch toward the downpipe, about 1 inch of drop for every 10 feet.

Years of snow load, settling, or a rushed installation pull sections flat or backwards, so water pools and spills over the side instead of draining. Cleaning doesn't fix the angle. Re-sloping or re-bracketing does.

Do you remove ice dams in Brampton?

Do you remove ice dams in Brampton?

Yes, with an industrial steam machine. Steam melts the ice off without chipping at it, so your shingles and your roof warranty come through fine. Brampton winters build heavy ice on north-facing eaves, and that ice backs water up under the shingles and rots the fascia behind it.

If you've got water coming in right now, call (416) 666-9863. Same-day arrival during business hours, 7 days a week.
